BARBARA FRIEDMAN

Executive Director

Barbara joined the Children’s Burn Foundation in 2003, bringing a strong background in health and child welfare policy and programs. As Executive Director, she oversees all Children’s Burn Foundation organizational activities.

Prior to joining the Children’s Burn Foundation, Barbara served as the director of the Community Benefits Department of the L.A. Care Health Plan, the largest public health plan in the country serving low-income families. She also served in the California State Assembly, representing the San Fernando Valley, and was Chief Deputy to L.A. City Controller Rick Tuttle and Chief of Staff for Assemblyman Burt Margolin.

Barbara earned a BA in History from the University of California at Berkeley.

KEELY QUINN

Program Director

In the position of Program Director, Keely coordinates and supports the expansion of existing programs as well as the creation and development of new programs.

Prior to joining the Children’s Burn Foundation in 2003, she worked at Modern Media, an infomercial production company, as a media buyer, and ultimately, as the Senior Vice President of Marketing. She brings her considerable skills in advertising, marketing and most recently, product development to her current position.

A Chicago native, Keely graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a BFA in Theatre.
