Our Voice Newsletter

Our Voice gives young burn survivors a new opportunity to overcome their feelings of isolation by connecting with others who share their issues and interests.

Without the opportunity to connect with others who have had similar experiences, many young burn survivors experience a sense of isolation. In 2007, the Children’s Burn Foundation launched a national newsletter for young survivors aged 11 and older.

Named Our Voice by its teen writers and artists, the newsletter provides a forum where adolescents can readily connect with others who have had similar experiences. The newsletter also provides an outlet for expression and a resource for young survivors to learn about other available support.

Published quarterly, Our Voice is the only newsletter in the country written by and for young burn survivors. Content includes articles, stories and poems from young burn survivors, topic-specific articles and Q&A columns by burn experts.
