​Who can attend camp?
Camp Gung Ho is for child burn survivors and their siblings, ages 6 to 14 years of age.
Teens, ages 15 to17 years of age,can join as junior counselors. Young adults 18 years or older can be volunteers.
Participants are referred by burn centers in the Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and Ventura counties, including Arrowhead, General Hospital, Grossman Medical Group, UCLA West Hills,Torrance Memorial, UC Irvine, and Shriners Hospitals.
How much does camp cost?
Camp Gung Ho is absolutely FREE!
Teens 15 to17 years of age: Become a Junior Counselor!
Young adults 18+ years of age:
Become a Volunteer!

UCLA Rope Challenge Course & more!
Campers board a chartered bus to UCLA Recreation/Outdoor Adventures Challenge
Course. Participants MUST wear athletic close-toed shoes. Clothes you can easily move in and are okay with possibly getting dirty. Pants are recommended instead of shorts. Hat and sunglasses are recommended. Sunscreen applied throughout the day. Snacks, drinks, and lunch provided.
Drop-off and Pick-up: CBF office, 5000 Van Nuys Blvd, Suite 210, Sherman Oaks
Drop off: 8:00 AM; Pick up: 3:30 PM

Fun, Food and Pool Party!
Campers board a chartered bus to a private residence in Calabasas. Snacks, drinks and
lunch provided. Wear bathing suits, flip flops/pool shoes and comfortable clothing.
Bring a towel and a change of clothing. Sunscreen applied throughout the day.
Drop-off and Pick-up: CBF office, 5000 Van Nuys Blvd, Suite 210, Sherman Oaks
Drop off: 8:00 AM; Pick up: 3:30 PM
(Space is limited. First come, first served. RSVP early!)

Family Beach Day - Burn Survivor & Immediate Family Only!
Join us for a family day at Malibu Makos Surf Club in Malibu. Fun day of surf lessons,
games, and delicious food. 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Free Parking. Free surf lessons by Makos for ages 6 through 18. Lunch and snacks provided.
Transportation assistance may be available.
Parents MUST supervise their children at all times. Location and directions provided upon R.S.V.P.
