We help support Halloween and Holiday parties at local Southern California hospitals ensuring that child burn survivors and their families have toys and fun for the holidays. This year, more than 400 child burn survivors and their families attended a Whoville theme special car parade holiday party at the top of the parking garage of Pasarroyo in Pasadena. Whoville sets were made by Firefighter Brian, Urban Plates served healthy selections and Chick-fil-A donated gift cards. JAKKS Pacific, Hasbro, and our Council made sure each child received a special holiday gift. A shout out to John and Laurie Sischo!
Children’s Burn Foundation Council women worked hard to ensure our children still had a Christmas celebration during this pandemic. Santa was able to stand in front of the cars for pictures! For children still in the hospital, we brought the holidays to them with the donation of toys at burn centers in Southern California.
